The Collmer-Stiles family’s mobile
home was completely destroyed by
fire on 1/31/21.
The trailer is not insured. It in a trailer park, and they are still liable for rent.
Sunday night Emily heard a noise in the back of the trailer, followed by smoke. Dad was at work, and just she and her mom, Carla were home. They left
immediately, grabbing electronics and
a few things by the door. A special cat, Nova pictured above, is safe as well.
They had one phone and called 911
outside. Mike, works at Walmart. They do not receive public assistance.
The Red Cross has helped them with a motel. They have a lot of fear and
stress.
They have no family who can take
them in.
Carla’s mother lives in a very small
rental. Carla is also asthmatic.
Although dad, Mike, works at Walmart, they do not have a very high inch. Carla,
due to her health, does not work.

February 8 Update:
Today is last day of Red Cross assistance. Waiting to see if DSS can put them on a list. They do not receive public assistance. They have been looking at apartments & trailers for rent.
On their income, the deposit with first & last month has been impossible.
Thank you! For prayers, donations of clothes, bedding and advice.
They are very stressed, but holding their heads up.
