Collins' Organ Donation Recovery

16-year-old Patrick Collins desperately needs a new liver, and after extensive testing his mother, Annette, was found to be a match! The lifesaving suregery will be on Dec. 19th where Annette will donate a portion of her liver to Patrick.
As a result of these involved surgeries with extensive recovery periods, there will be a significant emotional and financial strain on the Collins family. Patrick’s dad, Mike, will be challenged with taking care of his son and wife while they recover in the hospital and during post-op recovery at home.
