Collin Kilty-Warfield's Liver & Kidney Recovery
Collin Kilty-Warfield has recently been diagnosed with end-stage kidney and liver failure from unknown genetic causes (yet to be determined). He was admitted to the ICU in August when his health suddenly declined. Due to the severity of the condition, he was very close to not making it. With the amazing care of the ICU at St. Joseph's, all the love and support from family & friends, and his incredible determined attitude, he was able to begin healing. He has since made it out of the ICU to a step-down unit for further treatment. What a beast he is.
Ongoing Treatment:
While his symptoms have improved, his kidney and liver may not recover to normal on their own. He will soon return home from the hospital to continue treatment and waits to be put on a kidney and liver transplant list. Until then, he will do dialysis 3 times a week, do daily physical and occupational therapy, be on a strict food and beverage diet, and have frequent check-ins with specialists.
If you know Collin, you know he's such a strong person physically, mentally, and emotionally. He is not someone who gives up and will be fighting his hardest to get better. It will be a hard road ahead but he has many more arrows to shoot, more canvases to paint, more music to play, more friends to meet, more dinners with family, and a full loving life to live.

Since his recovery is ongoing, funds at any time are appreciated. The short term expenses we're preparing for is his home safety/medical equipment, and gas for commuting to the hospital, dialysis appointments, and other doctor appointments.
