Collin's Medical Bills

On May 7,2019 Collin was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This diagnosis, he swore would not "define" him and he has stayed very true to that.  The first initial reaction was that he was starring in his own episode of Grey's Anatomy. However, as his mood swayed and his pain increased as did the medical bills. His treatment included many chemo appoints with a co-pay each time. Trips to the ER because of an elevated temperature which always came in more prescription changes. After three months, in July of 2019 Collin's condition worsened. He was in the hospital for 3 weeks with a restricted diet that constantly changed and with pumped with medication that made him "not him". He puts on a brave face but at 19 being diagnosed with cancer, being over whelmed doesn't even begin to cover it. There were days that he couldn't leave his bed/ couch, couldn't keep anything down because of his medication, and been sleep deprived because of the constant vital checks. 
Collin has always tried to be very optimistic but this really has changed him. He has seen our dad, the workaholic, call out because he needed to take Collin to his appointments and offer him Starbucks and cooking his favorite foods. He has seen our mom become very handy with the medication and come up with a system that helps Collin take them on time and in order while working from home and dealing with two teenagers. 
These medical bills have accumulated and especially increased from his last trip to the hospital in which he stayed for 3 weeks because of complications from the stem cell transplant. Any donation amount will help alleviate the stress of our parents and give Collin time to recover. As a family we are asking for help, we understand that this is very short noticed but every little bit helps.
