Hey there! It’s me, Zack the Russian. As most of you know, I had to flee Russia because of the war against Ukraine. On the 24th of February, when Putin started this invasion, I went to the streets of Moscow and almost got arrested. At one moment 6 policemen were chasing me. I was paranoid and had to leave Russia very soon after that. During those days I was still officially a student of a university in Moscow. However, because of my leaving Russia and not being capable of visiting the classes in person and because of my university finding out about my channel, I was expelled. So, here I am a 21-year-old Russian staying in Georgia and having a dream to get my education done. I’ve decided that I want to study political science major and then become someone like a journalist about Russia or continue developing my news projects. I have applied for a community college in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina because my aunt lives there and she offered me to stay with her. The tuition per year is 8836$. I have 3000$ already saved for college. However, it is not enough and I need to deposit for two semesters in advance because I’m an international student. That is the reason for creating this fundraiser. I appreciate all of your help and I hope that I will be able to become someone capable of bringing democracy to Russia.
