The MBK Black Diamonds Academic Success Program of Peekskill High School; will be holding our First LIVE Cable TV Telethon Fundraiser. Being held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Peekskill High School starting at 12 noon and ending at 6:00 PM.
This page will be part of that effort and we will give live updates during the telecast as to how much money has been collected.
The purpose of the event is to raise money for an HBCU TOUR 2020 during Spring Break. It has been my personal experience that nothing is more helpful in motivating students to keep their grades up and excel in high school, than visiting colleges during Spring Break.
We would like your help and support in raising $25,000 during this event so that our boys of color can have a truly transformative experience of a lifetime.
This is a great way to end Black History Month!
Supporting boys of color, for them to have an opportunity to visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities during Spring Break. This is a way to make a difference and pay it forward.
Be our guest and enjoy some of the local talents that will be performing. Admission is free. Donations are accepted at the door.
