On the night of January 3rd, after finishing a late shift at work, my world was turned upside down. Around 12:15 AM, a drunk driver hit my parked car while I was still inside my workplace.

My car was uninsured, as I was parking it at work to save money for repairs before getting back on the road. Unfortunately, the driver’s insurance is only liable for his own vehicle, leaving me with nothing to recover from this devastating loss.

That car wasn’t just a vehicle—it was my lifeline. It got me to school, work, and everywhere I needed to be. I was working hard to save money to fix it and get back on track, but now it’s completely totaled, and I don’t have the resources to replace it.
