Hey Everyone! As the neighborhood cat lady, I'm always taking care of the cats in the neighborhood. One of the cats I regularly feed gave birth to four kittens on the back porch! Sadly, two of the kittens she had were sick, suffering from severe eye infections and upper respiratory illness.
I’ve taken them to the vet, and they’re now being treated, but they still need care, medications, vaccines, and tests to rule out serious conditions like feline leukemia.
Here’s the hard part, I’m a full-time college student, and have to move in 2 days! Extended stay hotels won’t allow pets, and local shelters told me the kittens are too young and sick to be accepted and they’d likely be euthanized. (I'm in the deep south and they don't seem to care so much for stray animals here)
However, these girls deserve a chance and I'm not quick to give up when things look tough. They’re gentle, loving, and still fighting to live, and I plan to help them!
I’m raising funds to:
- Secure a small, affordable home and pet-friendly home (its my last year in college)
- Cover their vet bills and medicines, spay services, heckups and transportation (Need vaccines in 3-5 weeks)
- Pay for critical nutrition food, and basic kitten supplies and toys (Need ASAP)
- Start an urgency fund for these kittens to always have access to the support they need. (Things happen and I want to be prepared)
Every dollar will go directly to their care and safe housing. None will be used for unrelated expenses. I am an ethical person and will not play with your donation!
If you can help, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, we’d be so grateful. These kittens didn’t choose this life, but with a little support, we can change their future.
Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion.
