College Student Education and Car

Hi everyone, my name is Chazz Banks and I am 18 years old. I am a first generation college freshman who relies on my car to commute to and from school. Up to this point I have been paying my way through school via my job as a DoorDash driver, which requires me to spend my working hours driving around town in my car. My 2005 Camry has a blown rod bearing in the engine and can’t go over 35 MPH, which will cost over $3,500 to fix. I do not have the money to pay for this repair and any additional use of my car will lead to engine failure. I have set up this account to see if I could get enough money to purchase a used car and also help pay for my next semester of school. I am currently completing my first year of college at Central Carolina Community College where I am pursuing an associates in Business Administration. My plan for next semester is to transfer to Cape Fear Community College and apply to the Radiography program where I would receive an Associates of Applied Science in Radiography.
