College Sophomore loses everything in fire

Life can change in the blink of an eye. My name is Lydia and I am setting up this Gofundme for my good friend Mikayla. I was with her as she got the call about her home being on fire. Ten minutes before she got the call she was talking about moving into her new Apartment with friends from her university. She had almost everything packed, she had bought household items for the new place. This was her first time living on her own and she was so excited. Then she received the call you never want to receive. She lost everything.
I met Mikayla when I was young through family friends. Watching her mature into a beautiful, bold young woman has been an absolute pleasure. She has never had anything handed to her and she works hard for everything she wants and chases after it.
