It’s with a heavy heart that I write this message. On June 15th my sister Bridget passed away unexpectedly. She was 40 years old and left behind her two sons, John (8) and Jackie (5). This has been the most painful and challenging experience of my life. The rest of our family has been in emergency support mode and in constant communication with each other. Bridget batteld with addiction for much of her adult life and despite the devastating sadness of losing her, we are left with a sense of serenity knowing that her struggle has come to an end. We’ve had a tremendous outpour of love from friends and family over the last week and it's been extremely touching to hear people’s fond memories and fun stories about Bridget from over the years. The first thing everyone says is- “What can I do? How can I support your family?” I’ve decided that the best way to honor Bridget’s legacy is through her two beautiful boys. I’ve setup a (529) College Savings Fund and ask that in lieu of sending flowers, you’d consider donating here instead.
Bridget was an amazing person, full of life and laughter and love. I’m choosing to remember all of her beautiful attributes and encourage you to do the same.
Most sincerely,
David Nash
