College Funds for the Children of Jason Greenlee
Donation protected
Hello friends,
With a heavy heart, we recognize that Jason Greenlee suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on August 25, 2019 at only 43 years old. Jason was a beloved son to Jack and Cathy Greenlee, a brother to David (Ann) and TJ (Chantel) Greenlee, a husband to Sarah Greenlee, a father to Kyla and Chase Greenlee, an uncle to Alison, Alexis, Addison, Luke, and Jaci Greenlee and Elizabeth Latham, a son-in-law to Larry and Cindy Latham, and a brother-in-law to Jacob (Jessica) Latham and Hanna Lucas.
As this remains a huge shock for the entire community of DeSoto, we are so grateful for the support each of you has given us. We are entirely appreciative of all who have reached out to us with their deepest and most sympathetic condolences. It is humbling to see the amount of lives Jason has positively impacted in his short-lived life, and he would be honored to know the effect that his inviting personality has made.
With that being said, many have reached out to us in regards to what they could do to ease the pain this has had on us. Although there are no words or actions that could take away from the sadness, confusion, and anger we are left with, we decided that the best and most beneficial idea would be to create a fund to assist in the college expenses for Kyla and Chase. With Kyla being a sophomore in college at Missouri State University and Chase finishing out his senior year at De Soto High School with plans of furthering his education, the donations will be made incredibly useful within the course of the next few years. Jason was a huge advocate on the importance of education and career and we believe this is what he would want for his children and family.
Another charitable contribution could be made to Paws for Autism, as this is a subject that lies close to his heart.
Again, we thank you for the support we have been given. This has taken a huge toll on not only his family, but his many friends. But, we are at peace knowing that he is reunited with all of his lost loved ones and is safe watching over us.
