Scott Anderson touched many lives with his photojournalism, capturing precious moments with his unerring eye and generous heart. Now that Scott is no longer with us, we are asking for your help in supporting his young children in realizing their dreams by contributing to their college funds. 

 

As longtime friends of the Andersons, we were co-workers at The Journal Times, but more than that, we loved Scott as a sweet, tender human being. He saw a special Scott-flavored truth in everything, and it was not possible to spend time with him without learning something. His photos were nourishing and he was a great journalist. The world is darker without him.

 

Scott died Feb. 21, 2022. He lived for several years with profound depression and anxiety and finally succumbed to his illness.

 

We created this GoFundMe to benefit Scott's two children, to assist with future college expenses. All donations go directly to the family, then to EdVest accounts for each of the children. 

Scott always taught us to see the beauty in small moments. Every contribution is a moment, a beautiful testament to the love we hold for the Andersons and our support for their children's future.
