College fund for the See boys

It’s with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of John See on July 18th. It is difficult to fathom that he is no longer physically with us. John tried every treatment and trial available to him in an attempt to beat back this evil cancer. He was hanging in there, but took a turn and then passed quickly and peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.

The Sees have touched so many people with their kindness and we all want to find meaningful ways to support this remarkable family, now Patty, Becket, Nicholas, and Emerson.

Anyone who knew John knew how much education meant to him.

Patty has graciously permitted us to start a GoFundMe campaign to give friends of the Sees an opportunity to contribute to the boys' college expenses. Becket will be finishing up his undergraduate degree in the DMV area (now interning at John’s previous workplace, American Federation of Teachers), Nicholas is thriving at UMass Amherst and will be going into his second year, and Emerson will be entering his junior year of high school and then on to college.

We are all devastated and want to help the Sees however we can to navigate this new, difficult world. The goal is to unburden Patty as much as possible and position the boys for their best success, without financial worry.
