College fund for Lizzie Kelly-Montgomery

Hello friends of Daniel "Bird" Montgomery. As you likely know by now, Bird passed away on 4/20/2021. Those who were close to him over the years felt that a meaningful way to memorialize him would be to contribute to a college fund for his daughter Lizzie. This Gofundme page will be the place were funds are pooled and then they will be converted to a tax free 529 college savings plan for her to use later.

Whether you knew Bird from CCDS in Charlotte, Guilford College, his days in DC, his summer at Camp Samoset in Maine or his life with Lizzie near Boston, consider making a gift in memory of him. Anyone who knew the Birdman has a happy story to tell and it's those memories that I hope we all hang on to.
