Jason Tallon, 50, of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2021. As a memorial to Jason, we'd like to set up this fund to support the education of his two sons, Sean and Liam.

 

Jason was born to Lynn and Frank Tallon on January 5, 1971 in Fargo, ND. Jason graduated from High School in Marathon City, WI and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in Science Communications. He was employed as Manager of EHR and Database Systems at Monument Health.

On July 31st, 1999, he married the love of his life and soulmate, Angela Rode. In 2007, they moved to Rapid City, SD. He and Angie were blessed with two wonderful boys, Sean and Liam. Jason's family was the most important thing in his life as he was the most important thing in their lives.

Jason's interests were wide and varied. He loved camping with his family at Custer State Park or Belle Fourche Reservoir. He loved going antiquing with his wife, Angie. He was also quite close to his Wisconsin family. Jason was keenly interested in researching the family genealogy and was quite proud to share his discoveries with his family. He was also an avid reader and writer.

Jason was well known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was always kind and had a zest for life that was unforgettable. He had a great way with words. Friends, family and coworkers all loved him and will miss him.

He is survived by his wife, Angie; two sons, Sean and Liam; mother, Lynn; and two brothers, Jonathan and James.

Jason was preceded in death by his father in October 2021.
