Friends and Family of Betsy, Chris, Daisy and Rosie -
Let's set Daisy up for success at CU next year and Rosie for whatever college or university is lucky enough to get her in the years to come.
A few people have expressed interest in making a contribution directly to the Lewis family in addition to a donation to the CLOVES Syndrome Community in memory of Betsy Lewis. This fundraiser was set up to enable just that, and any donations through this will help pay for college expenses (tuition, room and board, books, etc) for Daisy and Rosie this year and in the future.
Chris and the girls have already used $8,000 towards Daisy's tuition and books this year at University of Colorado at Boulder. The remaining will go into a savings account for Rosie's college adventures beginning next year.

UGH - GoFundMe doesn't believe that I'm actually giving the money to Chris, Daisy and Rosie, so here is the information they told me to post on this story:
1) How I know them: I am Judy McKenna's neighbor. Judy is Betsy's mom. Chris and Betsy also taught both my kids at Stanley British Primary School.
2) How the money is getting to them: For ease of transaction and the least amount of interference into Chris' financial life, I am having all funds transferred to my personal bank account and then writing him a check. I deliver the check to Judy and she gives it to Chris.
