Hi! My name is Lily and I am an undergraduate student at Lasell University majoring in Fashion Design. I was presented with the unique opportunity to participate in a two-week study abroad program in Paris. This is an amazing opportunity, seeing that for two weeks over the summer, we will be purely focused on fashion design concepts, learning from the designers themselves, learning how to dress models before a show, and getting first-hand knowledge on how to be successful in this competitive industry. And these are just a few of the many requirements and enriching components during this incredible trip. This short-term study abroad would complete the college experience for me. Unfortunately, I am unable to study abroad for a full semester due to college sports. Therefore, this trip would be perfect as it does not interfere with college sports commitments and will allow me the chance to study abroad for at least a short period of time. This is the trip of a life-time, but is also cost-prohibitive for me. I am currently working two jobs, attending college, and paying the majority on my own. Your support, in any amount, is deeply appreciated and will help me take important steps toward my career goals. Thank you!
