Rowan University Books & Meal Plan
Donation protected
Hello - I'm raising money for my son's college roommate, David Gajderowicz, who is a junior at Rowan University and plays football on the school’s Division 1 team. Dave lost his mother to breast cancer when he was 8 years old and just lost his father in January, 2018 due to complications from type 1 diabetes after spending years in hospitals and nursing homes.
D1 schools do not provide any scholarships for their athletes. He is borrowing the maximum amount of federal student loans and received the maximum amount of state and federal grants but the total college costs exceed the amount of aid. $1,490 is needed for a Fall 2018 semester meal plan and $510 for books. He majors in Criminal Justice and aspires to be a State Trooper or an Officer in the military after graduation.
Gator is a kind, caring person and his life has always been a struggle, but he never complains or asks for anything. Gator was recruited to play for Rowan football from Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ and I’ve been helping him with applying for loans/grants and working with the Rowan Financial Aid office to obtain as much aid that he is eligible for since he was a freshman. It is so important that he stay in school and complete his undergraduate degree so that he can get a good job. He is the first one in his family to attend college. He receives no financial assistance from his family since they have no assets of their own. He studies a lot and has little downtime since college work and football training is so challenging. Below is a link to his Rowan football page.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. Any donation amount, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
