Many of you know my life-long best friend Colleen, as a beautiful, strong, intelligent, kind, hard working, all-around amazing woman who is loved by everyone! Her gorgeous smile lights up the world, and she has a heart of gold!
A single mother of three amazing adult children, including a 26 year-old special-needs son who lives with her, Colleen enjoys life to the fullest! You wouldn’t know by looking at her, but Colleen is also a grandmother who is constantly doting on her two adorable grandbabies!
These are supposed to be our golden years, but unfortunately, Colleen is now in the fight of her life! In April of 2018, Colleen was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. As you can imagine, this will be a long and difficult journey with multiple surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy. There will come a time where Colleen will not be able to work to provide for herself and her family, so we’ve set up this campaign to ease her mind and assist with not only the medical expenses, but everyday expenditures, as well.
Colleen is the most kind-hearted person I know - always doing for others, and not asking for anything in return. Although this kind of attention is a bit uncomfortable for Colleen, let’s show her our love by making a generous contribution towards easing the financial burden that’s ahead of her! We appreciate any and all support you can offer.
