My mother, Colleen’s, world has changed forever with the partial amputation of both of her legs. What started as sharp pains while walking turned into a medical nightmare. She has now undergone eight surgeries within the last two months and all of our lives have permanently changed. We are so grateful to have had amazing medical teams assist my mom and save her life. She is currently in a rehabilitation facility and continues to fight to get stronger every day. If you know my mom, you know what a wonderfully funny, caring, and generous person she is. 

She has never been a person to complain about anything in life and always looks to the brighter side of things. She is a strong woman who has faced her share of obstacles in life and this event will not keep her down but she has a long journey ahead of her. I am so blessed for all of the help and wonderful messages we have received thus far. It truly means the world to me to see the impact my mom has had on so many people. She will make it through this, but now I am asking our friends and community to  help support her journey. 

All donations will help lessen the burden of medical expenses and for her continued rehabilitation stays still to come. She will be receiving prosthesis within the next year and will have to continue fighting to regain her independence and relearning all of the basic day-to-day functions of life.
