However, her plans took an unexpected turn when she was transported to the Cleveland Clinic on May 7 for a heart transplant evaluation. During this process, doctors discovered kidney cancer, adding complexity to her treatment.

Colleen's daughter, Courtney, has traveled with her to Ohio to assist and support her through this difficult time. The medical team at the Cleveland Clinic is working on a treatment plan for both her heart condition and renal cell carcinoma. This means an extended stay in Cleveland, far from Louisiana, with no set date for returning home.
