On November 15th, 2022 Colleen and Nixon lost their husband and father, Sean, in a mountain biking accident. The Curtice family recently moved from Tahoe to Novato so Sean could start a new career in the mountain biking industry in the bay area. Sean leaves behind his wife Colleen, and his four year old son, Nixon.

As a friend of Colleen's, I know her to be one of the most selfless human beings to walk this planet. She has made it her focus in life to serve other people and help them improve their lives, all while being a fantastic mama to Nixon. As a business owner and entrepreneur, her income entirely depends on her showing up. These funds will help Colleen and Nixon through this heartbreaking time so they can have some space to grieve and not worry about finances. Additionally, the funds will help them organize a service to properly honor Sean.
