With great sadness, Lewisham College announces the passing of Ermin Dizdarevic, a much-loved member of our Maths team.

Ermin has been a part of our college community for over 15 years and would be remembered for his exceptional dedication to his learners and the various teams he worked with.

Ermin was a very committed teacher who took pride in his work, teaching teenagers at the early part of his teaching career and latterly adults for so many years. Very pleasant and gentlemanly in his approach, he was thorough and honest in his teaching and learning strategies and did all he could to support his learners to achieve.

Originating from Bosnia, he worked very hard enabling opportunities for disadvantaged learners through flexible approaches. He enjoyed swimming, playing basketball and football with his daughters and maintaining a healthy work/life schedule.

He will be terribly missed by the Maths department. We look forward to your donations to support the family during this challenging time.
