For over four decades, Ray has been a cornerstone of the boxing community, tirelessly dedicating his time, energy, and passion to train, support, and inspire hundreds of boxers. Starting his journey in Andover in 1980, Ray's impact has been felt across multiple clubs and generations of athletes. He boxed for Hampshire and competed in the ABA’s while representing Southampton from 1991-1994. Ray continued to share his expertise at the Salisbury Coach House from 1996-1998 and is still at the Salisbury City Boxing Club in Churchfields. Ray is not just a coach; he is a mentor, a friend, and a beacon of encouragement for many. His relentless efforts and unwavering commitment to the sport and its athletes truly deserve recognition.
