Collection for Rapierre Williamson
Donation protected
A member of our school community, paraprofessional Mr. Rapierre Williamson has recently experienced an unfortunate situation at his home. He currently lives in a basement apartment and last week while he was at work the oil/gas company delivered too much oil to their home causing the boiler to over fill, collapse and break a pipe. This resulted in over 100 gallons of oil to flood his basement damaging his home as well as bags and bags of clothes, sneakers, furniture and other valuable personal possessions.
Mr. Williamson's home is owned by his mother but because the house is very old and the pipes and boiler have not been serviced in years, the insurance company is not going to cover the damage and the oil company that contributed to the explosion is currently not willing to help financially either.
I am sharing this information to start a collection for Mr. Williamson to help get through this rough emotional and financial time. Even if it is not a lot, some sort of monetary assistance could go a long way in helping him and his mom get through this rough period.
