Collection for Kathy O'Rourke

As some of you may know, Kathy O' Rourke's sister was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has metastasized to her liver and lungs. Kathy has been her biggest support since the diagnosis and has been helping her sister and special needs nephew with managing doctors appointments, transportation to and from chemo/appointments, and daily household tasks.
Kathy is currently working both as Parent's Day Out (PDO) Director at St. Mark's and as a bookkeeper for another local church in the afternoons/evenings. She spends her little free time with her sister and is working hard to ensure she is well taken care of while Kathy is working.
Kathy and her family will be facing significant challenges in the coming months. Although Kathy would never ask for help, she has given me her blessing to establish a collection on her behalf. My hope is that this fund will help offset some of the expenses and stress associated with her sister's current health condition so she can focus on spending time with her sister.
For the past 20 years, Kathy has provided the children in this community with loving and compassionate care, and has given us caregivers the opportunity for respite when we have needed it most - let's do the same for Kathy.
