Je m’appelle Jaonathana Linatia, j’ai 26 ans et je viens de Madagascar. Je souffre d’un Lupus sévère, une maladie chronique difficile qui rend ma vie très fragile.

J’ai quitté mon pays avec beaucoup d’espoir… L’espoir d’accéder à de meilleurs soins, d’avoir enfin une chance de stabiliser ma santé. L’espoir aussi de découvrir le monde, de vivre un échange culturel, et de me reconstruire loin d’un système médical qui, chez moi, n’est malheureusement pas encore assez avancé.

Mais en arrivant en Allemagne, tout s’est effondré. Trois mois après mon arrivée comme jeune fille Au Pair, j’ai fait une crise grave. Ma famille d’accueil m’a licenciée, car l’assurance a refusé de prendre en charge mes soins. La première facture était de 3 092 €… une somme énorme pour moi. J’ai dû négocier avec l’hôpital pour payer 200 € par mois.

J’ai retrouvé une nouvelle famille d’accueil, mais quelques mois plus tard, j’ai rechuté. Une nouvelle facture : 5 764 €, et à nouveau un licenciement. Encore une fois, l’assurance n’a rien couvert. J’ai dû accepter de payer 100 € par mois à cet hôpital-là.

Pensant me stabiliser, j’ai commencé un FSJ, mais avant même d’obtenir mon contrat définitif, j’ai encore été hospitalisée… deux fois. Les factures : 3 061 € et 5 678 €.

Puis, une nouvelle dégradation de ma santé. Transportée d’urgence, j’ai été hospitalisée plusieurs fois. Rien n’a été payé par l’assurance. Les dernières factures s’élèvent à 6 351 € et 3 061 €, puis j’ai dû être transférée dans un hôpital spécialisé dans le Lupus où j’ai été hospitalisée un mois entier. La facture n’est même pas encore arrivée…

À cela s’ajoutent deux ambulances que j’ai dû appeler lorsque j’étais incapable de marcher :

Aujourd’hui, les hôpitaux me réclament au total 27 989 €.

J’ai réussi à payer 9 000 € grâce à votre générosité, à mon travail et à la première cagnotte. Mais il me reste encore 18 989 €, une somme impossible pour moi seule. Je suis arrivée à mes limites : physiquement, moralement et financièrement.

Je ne sais plus où trouver cette force…

Je veux simplement continuer à vivre, accéder aux soins, respirer sans avoir peur de la prochaine facture qui tombera.

Mein Name ist Jaonathana Linatia, ich bin 26 Jahre alt und komme aus Madagaskar. Ich leide an schwerem Lupus, einer chronischen Krankheit, die mein Leben sehr zerbrechlich macht.

Ich habe mein Land mit viel Hoffnung verlassen… der Hoffnung auf bessere medizinische Versorgung, auf eine Chance, meine Gesundheit zu stabilisieren. Ich wollte die Welt entdecken, einen kulturellen Austausch erleben und mir ein neues Leben aufbauen, denn in Madagaskar ist die Medizin leider noch nicht weit genug entwickelt.

Doch hier in Deutschland ist alles anders gekommen. Nur drei Monate nach meiner Ankunft als Au-pair wurde ich schwer krank. Meine Gastfamilie entließ mich, weil die Versicherung meine medizinischen Kosten nicht übernahm. Die erste Rechnung betrug 3.092 € – eine enorme Summe für mich. Ich musste mit dem Krankenhaus vereinbaren, 200 € pro Monat zu zahlen.

Ich fand eine neue Gastfamilie, doch nach einigen Monaten wurde ich wieder krank. Eine neue Rechnung über 5.764 €, und erneut verlor ich meine Stelle. Wieder übernahm die Versicherung nichts, und ich zahle nun 100 € monatlich an dieses Krankenhaus.

Ich wollte mein FSJ beginnen, doch bevor mein Vertrag endgültig war, wurde ich erneut zweimal schwer krank. Die Rechnungen: 3.061 € und 5.678 €.

Danach verschlechterte sich mein Zustand erneut. Ich musste in verschiedene Krankenhäuser und die Versicherung zahlte nichts. Die letzten Rechnungen betragen 6.351 € und 3.061 €. Schließlich wurde ich in ein spezialisiertes Lupus-Krankenhaus verlegt, in dem ich einen Monat stationär war. Die Rechnung steht noch aus.

Dazu kommen zwei Krankenwagenfahrten:

Insgesamt schulde ich den Krankenhäusern 27.989 €.

Dank Ihrer Unterstützung, dank meiner Arbeit und der ersten Spendenaktion konnte ich bereits 9.000 € bezahlen.

Doch 18.989 € bleiben noch offen – eine Summe, die ich allein niemals bewältigen kann. Ich bin körperlich, emotional und finanziell am Ende.

Ich weiß nicht mehr weiter…

Ich möchte einfach nur weiterleben, behandelt werden und nicht jeden Tag Angst haben müssen.

I left my country with so much hope… the hope of finding better medical care, of finally stabilizing my health. I also hoped to discover the world, experience cultural exchange, and rebuild my life, because medical care in Madagascar is still very limited.

But when I arrived in Germany, everything fell apart. Three months after arriving as an Au Pair, I became seriously ill. My host family let me go because the insurance refused to cover my medical costs. The first bill was €3,092 – an amount I couldn’t afford. I had to agree to pay €200 per month to the hospital.
