Hello. My name is Mohammed.

I live in Gaza. I am 30 years old.

We went through very harsh conditions two years ago and lived a very difficult life of killing, destruction, terrorism and starvation.

I lost my father, my younger brother Ismail, my other brother Salah, and many members of my family in this war.

Then we were forcibly expelled from our home, which was a shelter from the bitterness of the days, the heat of the summer and the harsh cold of the winter.

My family of 5, my brother Saeed's family of 4, my mother's family and my sisters' family, and I found ourselves living on the streets without shelter.

We live in tents that animals cannot live in.

For months we have been unable to find anything to eat or drink due to the war and siege. We have drunk contaminated water and eaten spoiled food to fight and survive.

And now after the end of this war, which may return at any time.

We want to leave Gaza and seek refuge outside it in a country that deprives us and we seek safety there.

I want you to help me and what is left of my family to get out of this stricken and destroyed city that is no longer fit for living, and I want your help to bring my family to safety and salvation.

This was the story in brief, because what my family and I went through is indescribable. A minute here felt like a thousand years.
