A lot of you will know Richard Anderson. He’s been a member of the MRL Bulk Earthworks team at Ken’s Bore and moved to Haul Road East crew to work as a truckie when we ramped up.

Richard had a medical event on site some weeks back and was taken to Karratha Hospital. He has been seeing his doctor in Perth as he has other related, and some unrelated issues, requiring surgery. Unfortunately Richard will be unable to work for the next 4-5 months.

In addition to this, he has been supporting his partner for some time through her cancer treatment. This has included numerous major surgeries. Yet another is scheduled as soon as she has fully recovered from the last one, which was only recently.

Richard has been a solid, hardworking and valued member of our crew for a long time and when he’s healed he’ll be welcomed back. BUT, at the moment, he needs our help. The big bloke was embarrassed and humbled when he found out what we aim to do for him with this Go-Fund-Me page.

Please give a little - or dig deep - for Richard in his time of need. We know that it could happen to any one of us at any time.
