I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and my family. My name is Jonathan Collazo and I have been married to my wife Dennise Collazo since October 22, 2010. Together we have a beautiful 7 year old daughter named Isa Rose.
My wife has had health challenges from as far back as I can remember. It all began in March 2011 during her pregnancy with Isa. Dennise then faced additional health problems as doctors attempted to solve her constant abdominal pain. At first they diagnosed her with Endometriosis. She was then advised to remove her appendix and subsequently her gall bladder as well; massess removal from her ovaries and uterus, temporary Ileostomy, leaving to Denver in 2017 for treatment. In Denver she under-went emergency surgeries which she almost lost her life; after 14 surgeries she is now going to undergo another one after having to need a permanent ileostomy she will be undergoing to have g-tube put on her stomach for nutritions; she is resilient will have a smile on her face in the midst of everything. After each surgery, she would lapse back into suffering in pain as she bravely attempted to live a “normal” life as a woman of God, wife, mother, daugther, sister, aunt, friend, student and helping others, she is attemptin to start a business, she would stop live for others.
Dennise has remained in constant pain throughout 2015 and in to the present time. She has been hospitalized so many times, that we have been inundated with large medical bills and we have also lost wages. I have lost time and wages in my own job due to having to take care of my wife and my daughter. Dennise is constantly facing admissions to the hospital and on-going procedures, she loves lifes and loves putting others before her own needs. She is about to start her last semester of Semianry school and unfortunately because of her health she hasn't been able to work and do many things she use to enjoy doing even if she pushes herself to be part of life and things she does it for others!
...I have humbly created this GoFundMe account in the hope that people will donate and extend a hand where one is desperately needed and will be valued and appreciated. Thank you for your prompt attention and consideration!
