Hi, this is Ev.
Things were good until my spine started collapsing. I have multiple herniated discs, spinal stenosis, bone spurs, and a crushed femoral nerve that gets worse every day. We've had a lot of medical expenses with my partner having to miss work, trips to the hospital, medications, appointments, and food that can be easily served to me. I am now bedbound 24-7, barely able to get to the restroom and back, with severe pain for hours after I do so. Not sure if a neurosurgeon can fix this or when he can see me, but we've fallen badly behind financially. We had to spend my entire SSDI check just to pay the rent and water bill this month. We will need to pay bills somehow so we can continue to access the care I need, gas money for appointments, money for medications, groceries and bills. I'm only 43 and I don't want to lose my life yet, but whether or not they can help me, I don't want my family to lose their home because of me and the cost of caring for me right now. Can you please help? Thank you so much.
