Trying to raise money for Colin to attend a 2-week work program at The University of Michigan this upcoming summer from July 5th - July 18th.
He is currently a junior in high school (11th grade) attending Sierra Canyon High School. He has been working so hard to maintain a high GPA, taking AP Honors classes. This summer, he looks forward to researching and touring college campuses. Michigan is one of his top 3 choices, and he wants to major in Economic Finance.
He was offered and has been accepted to attend the University of Michigan (U-M) Summer Discovery program, which offers high school students a "Personal Finance & Investment" course designed to teach investing basics, corporate financial analysis, and portfolio management. It serves as a pre-college, hands-on introduction to economic principles, risk tolerance, and stock market functions like NASDAQ and NYSE.
The program provides a strong foundation for diverse career paths in finance, consulting, and economic analysis.
He has been accepted into the program, but now the challenge is funding the expenses for the program, housing, and airfare.
Every little helps him reach our goal, so if you could consider donating or sharing this campaign it would mean so much. Thank you for all the support!
