As many of you may know, Colin turns 40 in November.

Instead of buying him bottles of wine or whiskey or whatever random thing you think of, Colin is requesting funds towards ruining the hearing and sanity of the West Belconnen area.

When I first met Colin back in the year 2009, he was interested in learning the Bagpipes and even upset most of the University of Canberra Res by taking a few early morning lessons from Paul Davies. Then life got in the road and in 2022 Colin was inspired to start lessons again.

Things took a slow down the next year when Colin had a stroke and it caused a step back in his skills and ability to memorise songs.

Since Colin moved to Canberra last year he has been back taking lessons and really coming forward with his skills.

As a 40th birthday present Colin would like funds towards his own set of Bagpipes.

This will cause ongoing strife within our house with excess noise and will probably cause our neighbours to despise him.
