Colin Marriott’s funeral & family fundraiser ❤️

It breaks my heart to be setting up this fundraiser as it was only 10 months ago we set one up for Col’s wheel's and he was still with us being as positive as ever & identifying as immortal (well he still is somewhere)! Now no way is my story going to be on the same level as Col’s amazing stories, his story telling was something special that nobody can ever match up to!
Col loved his wheels & was made up with the generosity & support from everyone. I’m sure many of you saw him driving around the town centre looking like there was nothing wrong with him, smiling & making sure everyone else was ok! He actually made a mobility scooter look quite cool! Thank you to everyone who helped reach that target. He was able to buy both the scooter & a trendy wheelchair both of which were vital for him getting out & about to visit places & people & “living”! “Nice one dudes”
I am sure that many of you now know that Colin sadly passed away on 15th November & fought until the very end! His strength was something else just like his writing skills! He had his beautiful family by his side ❤️
So I am now setting up this new fundraiser to help raise funds towards Colin’s funeral & also to support his beautiful family.
As much as him & Sammy knew he would need a funeral he continued to identify as immortal & wanted to continue living life, having fun, making memories but whilst also struggling to make ends meet & keep a roof over their heads with no savings to be saved! In Col’s words “it turns out being ill isn’t cheap” & no insurances to fall back on
Seeing my sister Sammy & the kids so lost & heartbroken I want to try to help their pain. I hope by setting this up & taking some of the financial burden & worry off them they can concentrate on giving Colin the best funeral & celebration of life that he deserves!
Sammy has already been asked by kind friends if a fundraiser is being set up as they would like to donate but 100% Colin or Sammy would NOT agree to anyone donating if they are having a hard time & cannot afford it. Please only donate if you are able to & want to ☺️
If we can reach over & above the set target we can also help Sammy, Becci, Leah, Jake, Connor, Maggi-Mae & granddaughters Frida & Maeve towards the things they are going to need & provide a safety blanket during the emotional times ahead! Your support is much appreciated. Thank you ❤️
