Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We are asking you to reach into your hearts to support a very special member of our community and his awesome family.
Colin Connor, a member of the CHS class of 2020, has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. After spending his summer working at YMCA's Camp Lawrence for Boys on Lake Winnipesaukee, Colin was looking forward to reporting for his junior year at Eckerd College in Florida. Instead, he is now facing months of aggressive chemotherapy. As a former student-athlete who excelled on both the varsity wrestling and volleyball teams, we know he is up for this fight. However, a diagnosis such as this affects the entire family.
On a typical day, his mom Jenn can be found behind the counter at Center Sports or working as a realtor. His dad JJ is a carpenter and the drummer of a better than good enough band known as Good Enough, who have donated their time and talent to support many local causes, including the CHS Booster Club. As one can imagine, reporting to work while bringing Colin to Mass General will be anything but typical.
So that Colin and his family can focus solely on his health, we ask for your support to ease the Connors' financial burden. Any amount, large or small, will be greatly appreciated. In addition, we ask that you keep Colin in your thoughts and prayers as he, in his own words, "beats the p*** out of this thing." Thank you.
