The Cole family is raising funds on behalf of Colin Cole

On January 26th, Colin started to have some numbness down his left side along with chest pain, he went to his son for help, shortly after he had a seizure and his son called for help

During the ambulance ride, it progressed into tonic seizures, his condition deteriorated rapidly becoming unresponsive and, they called for an ICP to come help stabilise Colin, he was then intubated to keep him alive.

At the hospital, doctors discovered a large tumor on his brain. Surgery followed, and his family waited in disbelief for answers they never imagined they would hear. When the biopsy results came back, they confirmed the unimaginable:

Colin has stage 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive and devastating form of brain cancer.

He has been given a prognosis of just three to twelve months.

waiting 4 weeks before radiation starts.

Colin is only 55 years old. He is a loving husband, a devoted son, a proud father of four boys, and a cherished grandfather to two beautiful granddaughters.

He is the kindest person you will ever meet, gentle, selfless, and always putting others before himself.

He is the heart of his family, the one everyone turns to, the one who makes people feel safe and loved just by being there.

This diagnosis has rocked our entire family to its core.

The suddenness and cruelty of it all is impossible to comprehend, knowing how much life he still has ahead of him and how deeply he is needed and loved.

While the road ahead is filled with uncertainty and unimaginable grief, our focus is on making the most of the time we have left together creating memories, sharing love, and holding each other close.

colins dream is to travel around Australia and with a little help from everyone we can make that happen!
