Colfax High School Model UN Club Conference Fund

You can make a difference by donating today to The Falcon Foundation! This campaign is to support the Colfax High School Model UN Club. This fledgling club is in its second year and excited to attend state and national conferences this year. This is a club that debates world topics and politics, and in doing so creates a realistic simulation of the United Nations conferences. This club meets weekly to prepare for conferences and fundraises so the students can travel to conferences all over the nation. This club works on public speaking, debate skills, research, media literacy, and diplomacy through active collaboration. The goal for club members is to participate to gain global awareness, travel experience, and develop empathy. This club is the ultimate in real-world skills and integration of authentic learning.

The Falcon Foundation is a non-profit, public educational foundation that supports students and programs at Colfax High School (CHS), Colfax, California. The specific purposes of The Falcon Foundation are to; raise funds to support and enhance academic and extracurricular programs at CHS, make scholarships and grants to the school and to individual departments, teachers, students, and student groups to further the purpose of The Falcon Foundation and of CHS, its teachers and students, and conduct outreach with alumni.
