Coley's Challenge

Our friend Coley has been battling Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever for the past 6 years. She is currently undergoing treatment in Germany which is her best hope at getting her life back. Coley has been a great friend to the four of us and we hate that we can't be with her through this tough time. Instead, we are doing what we can to help cover her medical expenses. While Coley is in Germany we will be running/walking/swimming/cycling a collective 500km in the next 30 days to try to raise funds for her treatment. Coley is a caring, kind, funny and talented person who deserves only good things. We appreciate any contribution you can make to helping this cause.

A little more about Coley's experience:

Coley has been battling Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever for the past 6 years. This disease is very similar to Lyme disease but is considered, in many cases, much more severe. As this is such a rare illness in Ireland, Coley was undiagnosed for a long time which in turn has seen her illness get worse. Just under a year ago Coley received this diagnosis and has tried many costly but sadly ineffective treatments since. Coley saw going to Germany as her last hope to get back to a normal life and we are all hoping that we will get our friend back soon, pain free and enjoying her life again.
