Cole Williams is an extension of part of our huge Baker Hughes/oilfield family. Although I've known his mama for years once all of our husbands started working together we became a family...a super cool oilfield bond that we are all very proud of. His story is one that we as parents, friends, and siblings of, never expect will happen to us. I wasn't going to share my story because sharing made it real and I just didn't want it to be real. I decided to share anyway well because it is real and we need you all to pray and pray some more for my sweet boy. He and I went on Monday to the concussion clinc at children's hospital in search for answers for some prolonged symptoms. What turned into routine turned into anything but very quickly. After and unexpected MRI that they pulled me out of before it was over. The nice doctor turned my world upside down in a matter of a min. With just a few words: I am so sorry but we found a brain tumor. From there it was all a blur it happened to fast but my life also stopped in that very moment. We are scheduled for surgery on Friday and after we promised to take it very easy they let us come home to wait. Cole is feeling fine, but is scared and nervous. So in your prayers please ask for comfort for my son, knowledge for the surgeon, and no cancer for the tumor. Thank you. You are my sun and my moon Cole Jackson mommy loves you very much and with God's love and guidance and help of prayer we will prevail.
