Hi, my name is Camille Richert and I want to help my sister Colette Sneed rebuild from one of the most devastating wildfires in Colorado's history. On December 30th, my sister left her home in the morning to join us for a fun day together. Little did she know this is the last time she would ever see her home.
She received a frantic call from a neighbor midafternoon to inform her they were evacuating. She did not have internet service where she was and had no clue what was going on in her hometown of Louisville, Colorado. By the time she was able to return to her neighborhood, it was too late. As she drove to try to return to her home, she found flames lapping at the streets, blocks from her house. The entire neighborhood was engulfed in flames.
She is left with the clothes she had on that day and her car. She has lost EVERYTHING!
The pictures above show what is left of her neighborhood and her home. This is devastating. She has been in her home for 20 years and it is now all gone. (she is going to need to replace everything from clothes, shoes, furniture, dishes, kitchen items, electronics, camping equipment, hiking equipment, bikes, ski equipment, snowboards...) I would like to help her rebuild and get through the toughest time of her life. She is the most selfless, hard-working, caring, and loving person I know. She would do anything for her friends and family. It is our turn to support her.
Please consider giving a donation to help her get back on her feet. It is greatly appreciated.
