Our good friend Colette Fex is having major surgery again in late November.
This is a invasive surgery in which doctors will be removing a solid pseudo papillary tumor from her pancreas, along with removing a portion of her pancreas and her spleen to ensure they remove the entire tumor.
This will be a long slow recovery. Colette will be in the hospital for 3-4 days and will be off work for at least 4 weeks.
She just had her appendix removed a few months ago and has used most of her paid time off. Unfortunately, lost wages, medical expenses, and follow up care will compile quickly.
We would like to help her and her family during this time and need. She's been pretty quiet about it, not wanting to worry anyone. And she's certainly not one to ask for help, so we want to ask for her.
