Our Daughter lost her husband of 24 years suddenly on August 26, 2020. They have 2 teenage children.
Chris was diabetic and close to stage 4 kidney disease. He had been hospitalized the week before his death, but after several tests he was released, but was to return in 2 weeks and have Ports installed for home dialysis at night so he could continue working. Did the Hospital and Doctors miss something?
A few years ago he had 2 strokes, lost his job in IT and had to cash in their 401K to pay bills. He had to take a lower paying IT job. Even with all of these problems he continued to work as much as able. His wife, Keri, works a full time job, a part time job at night, donates plasma regularly and now faced with raising 2 daughters by her self.
She is faced with funeral costs, medical bills, mortgage, utility bills, prescriptions, car payments, braces for the youngest daughter and college costs for the oldest daughter now and the younger daughter later on.
We live an hour and a half away and with her working daily can only help on the weekends. Since we are both retired with health restrictions, our physical help is limited.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
