Cole was in a motorcycle accident with another vehicle on April 10th, 2022 and suffered devastating injuries that resulted in no other option but to amputate his right leg from above the knee. He was thankfully wearing his helmet which saved his life, and he suffered other injuries that were only minor compared to the greater picture. He has since been in the hospital and endured 2 surgeries followed by weeks of physical and occupational therapy as he works toward his road to recovery on this long journey ahead.

Cole has kept his strength, positivity, and optimistic attitude throughout all of this and we want to help him relieve the stresses of every day bills and costs of living we all deal with day to day in any way we can. We’re organizing this fundraiser as a place where people can send him financial aid and support for the months to come as he is currently unable to work or make a living. We had to put a goal amount on the fundraiser but that by no means depicts our expectations of the outcome; each and every dollar from those who are able to donate would be greatly appreciated and could go a long way.

Cole’s hopeful to start fitting a prosthetic sometime in June, but a timeframe for getting back to work is currently unknown as he relies on physical labor and construction as his primary source of income. He’s eager to get back to his once busy and super active life and we’re hoping that some financial relief will aid in keeping his focus on getting better and healing. His high spirits, continued humor, and remarkable progress he’s made so far have not only inspired us but will hopefully inspire many others who are working to overcome similar injuries or amputations.
