Cole Mishler Moto Fun-d

Donation protected
On Tuesday, September 3rd 2019, our friend Cole Mishler was commuting home on his motorcycle and low-sided on Northbound 17.  This solo accident appears to have been caused by a slippery substance on the road—perhaps coolant.  His right elbow took most of the impact, dislocating his shoulder, tearing his rotator cuff, and causing multiple fractures.  Doctors predict a 4-6 month recovery for his shoulder.  His Honda—not covered by insurance—is pretty torn up, but appears fixable.  It will be months before he gets a final verdict on his medical bills.  We can be assured, Cole’s misadventure will feature some financial fallout.  Let’s pitch-in and lessen the blow for our friend!  I'm sure he would also welcome a friendly wrench-turner or two on the Honda.

September 9th Update:
Half-way to our $3k goal!  We can do it!
Cole met with the orthopedic surgeon who confirmed that his shoulder is fractured into multiple pieces with one chunk way out of place.  He is going into surgery tomorrow morning to screw the bones together and repair the rotator cuff.  His arm will need to be in a sling for 5-6 weeks.  More info will be available after surgery.

September 10th Update:
Almost 2/3 of the way toward our $3k goal!
Cole reports he got out of surgery.  It seems to have gone well, but his right arm is under a nerve-blocker.  He's going to take the rest of the day off.
