Most of you know Cole, for those of you that don’t let me introduce you to him. Cole is a graduate of Taylor High School where he played football and baseball. He is a Sophomore at Angelo State University and has been a student athlete his whole academic life. He doesn’t pick his friends by who is popular but by who was good for his soul to be around.  He is funny, well mannered and always courteous to others.

On Friday, October 2nd, Cole was involved in a grease fire while cooking. Cole  was preparing to cook dinner when he reached up to turn on the exhaust fan when he did immediately a flash fire occurred. Cole thinking of his friends who were in the house grabbed the pan that was on fire and carried it outside. Cole received 3rd degree burns to his hands and 2nd degree down his legs which required medical attention. Cole was taken from San Angelo to Brooke Army Burn Center in San Antonio where he had surgery involving multiple skin graphs. Cole has a long road to recovery which will take about a year and a half.

The Harms family is a genuine, loving, hard working family that is always willing to help others. They have given and served so many expecting nothing in return. Let’s come together and help them during this trying time.
