On September 7th, 2022, Cole Greenland tragically passed after risking his life to save an individual who drove their car into a pond. Selflessly, Cole and his brother Caleb jumped into the pond to rescue the individual who drove in. Caleb made it out alive. Cole, unfortunately, couldn’t get out. The brothers banged on the windows to get the driver out and he was able to get out from his window. Cole attempted to swim out, but became overwhelmed with trying to save the driver and became submerged. Caleb did everything he could to get to get to Cole, but quickly ran out of energy. Cole, unfortunately, was under water for 45 minutes. When he was rescued he had a pulse. Cole was rushed to the ER. He passed later in the afternoon in the ICU. Caleb is showing signs of improvement. The family is completely devastated now with the impossible task of burying 20 year old Cole. Any donations will go directly to the funeral expenses for Cole and hospital bills for both.
