Cemetery Memory Bench for Cole Falconer

On May 9th, 2022 this kind, young man died in a tragic car accident, near Halstad, Mn., just a few miles from his home. Due to family circumstances, his final resting place is in South Dakota. This past summer, his local friends, coworkers and family created a “make-shift” memorial for him at the sight of his accident. Though this was very thoughtful, none of his loved ones want to remember him at this tragic place. But rather, in a place of peacefulness. I have been working with the local funeral home owner and a monument business to get in a place a granite bench at a cemetery plot near Halstad. This will allow his broken-hearted mama a place to sit while she and her heart remember him. This will also allow his friends, coworkers and other family members a more personal place to honor his memory. The plot has already been donated by a local Halstad resident. The total cost of the granite bench is $6500.00. I am hopeful to have the funds raised quickly so I can get it in time to be placed in the spring, as soon as the snow is gone.
