Cole Eriksson Parker Eagle Scout Scholarship Fund

Cole Eriksson Parker was involved in a tragic accident on August 8, 2025. He succumbed to his injuries and passed away on August 9, 2025. He was 22 years old.

Cole was a big guy with an even bigger heart. Cole enjoyed helping people and often gave his time and money selflessly. In this spirit, his mother (Angela Moses) and his father (Erik Parker) want to honor his memory by establishing a scholarship fund in Cole's name.

In 2020, Cole reached the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America (now known as Scouts BSA), something that made all of us very proud. Cole exemplified the values of the Scouts through his selfless generosity, unwavering kindness, and deep loyalty to those around him. Whether helping a friend fix a car, offering support during tough times, or simply being a steady and uplifting presence, Cole lived with compassion and integrity. He was a great listener, a source of light in any room and someone who truly loved his friends and family. The outpouring of emotion and the stories of the kindness and empathy that Cole showed to so many people tell us that Cole truly lived the Scout motto of "Do a Good Turn Daily".

Scouting was a very important and formative experience in Cole's life. To honor him and Scouting, the fund will be designed to grant at least one Eagle Scout from the Buckeye County a scholarship on an annual basis. The hope is to make these scholarships $939 per year in recognition of his scout troop that gave him so much (Buckeye Council - Troop 939).

This scholarship will be granted to the applicant that best personifies the values of Scouting and that intends to continue their journey of personal growth and development by attending a trade school, associate's degree program or a bachelor's degree program.
