Brothers Cole & Cinch: Medical & Recovery Fund
Donation protected
This fundraiser is to help with medical and future expensives to include rehabilitation for both boys.
If you’ve ever wondered what true resilience means, it’s everything that Cole and Cinch continue to demonstrate. They continue to fight and pray.
On July 24, 2022, it seemed like the world stopped turning when Cole (age 13) and Cinch (age 10) were involved in a dirtbike accident. Cinch was airlifted by helicopter to Tucson, Arizona. Cole was transported by ambulance to our local hospital then airlifted by helicopter also to Tucson, Arizona. Both boys were in the trauma emergency unit for a period of time, then when able to, they were moved to ICU. This week, they were both moved to regular rooms. Both boys will eventually be discharged, but to a rehabilitation center in order to help them.
Medical Injuries:
Both boys right now are stable, but still facing life serious injuries. They both have numerous broken bones. Some bones required plates, rods, screws, and pins. Other bones will be in hard casts once the swelling goes down and doctors determine its appropriate. The remaining breaks and fractures in their bones should heal on their own with time. Both boys have serious organ injuries/damage and have specialized teams that are developing and monitoring their treatment plans daily. Cole's kidneys are the biggest concern and the damages to them. Cinch has a fractured skull and had a brain bleed. Cinch continues to go through Nuerostorms and rehabilitation will help him.
Doctors have expressed that both boys will have a long recovery. They both are polytrauma which means they have numerous injuries and trauma throughout their body.
Both boys went to a rehabilitation center to help them with physical therapy to learn how to walk again.
